Welcome to the UW Women's Club Lacrosse Team Website!
About the team
We are an intercollegiate club team at the University of Wisconsin - Madison, competing in the Women's Collegiate Lacrosse League. The WCLL is the largest collegiate club lacrosse league for women and has an annual national tournament. We play against teams all over the US, including Minnesota, Iowa, Northwestern, University of Chicago, Michigan, Michigan State, Central Michigan, Air Force, Ohio State, Kentucky, Knox, Wheaton College, and Augustana. Our team is run by our elected student captains, and we practice three times per week. While most players have lacrosse experience, we welcome beginners to join the team. Our girls come from all over the US with members from New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Nevada, Wisconsin, California, Washington, Texas, etc. We are a fun group of girls who love the game of lacrosse!
Practices
Spring practices are held on Wednesday from 10:00pm - 12:30am at the McClain Center. Conditioning practices (unless otherwise noted as a stick-work practice) will be held every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:00pm at the Serf. If possible, try to make your schedule accommodate these practice times. We realize that school comes first, but attending two practices a week will be mandatory if you would like to participate in tournaments!

Dues
Dues are $90 per semester. Please make checks payable to University of Wisconsin Women's Lacrosse. Players are responsible for providing their own sticks and mouthguards. Uniforms and protective goggles are provided by the team. Anyone looking to join the team for the spring should contact Alice or Weiss (uwwomenslax@gmail.com) so you can get the appropriate paperwork filled out before coming to practice!
